WELCOME.
My name is David Rossiter. I've been writing and performing original roots music with the band Hoodang for many years. During that time, I've learned a great deal about what it takes to craft a song that can tell a story, move an audience, confound expectations and genres, and merit praise.
If you're looking to learn how write songs with punch, meaning, poetry, and power in them, I can help you discover your path. Whether you're interested in the 5 hour group intensive or one-on-one mentoring, the knowledge, techniques, and inspiration I can share with you will help you elevate your songwriting to a more productive and satisfying level.
The 52 Songs Project is a year-long songwriting commitment begun in September 2010. Visit the project blog to learn more about my songwriting process and listen to demos of some the most recent work.
